Guided setup#
Use snagbadger-setup to configure bug reporting, agentic testing, or both. It discovers the application's stack and existing setup, then reviews suggested settings with you before applying approved changes.
Choose one or several applications. Share setup choices across them or tailor each one separately. Existing projects can update their setup or review a replacement plan. Built-in diagnostic harvesters start recommended for review; supported library-specific custom harvesters can be created in your application after approval.
For testing, supply documentation, application URLs, and ticket boards covering implementations and bugs. The skill discusses initial coverage with you, then initializes agreed test definitions and execution prerequisites. It can guide authentication, lifecycle hooks, server-side actions, and missing project-owned test APIs. Unavailable support leaves affected tests clearly blocked while other setup remains useful.
The installation and onboarding contract contains the skills.sh command, runner requirements, discovery command, and capability boundaries. Installed skill files do not install a browser runtime or provide real Jira/Linear authentication. Those providers' project settings are configured during setup; end users connect supported accounts in the browser.
After initialization, use snagbadger-create-test to maintain scenarios and snagbadger-test to run ready selections. The first-run guide explains the underlying portable runner.
